The Carpe Diem Racing Team 2014 is part of RPR Racing.
Established to take part in the 2014 Opel Astra OPC Cup in VLN, the Team ambition is to race all 10 VLN races and to finish Top-5 in the Cup at the end of the season.
RPR Racing provides on-track support with their own service truck and specialised mechanics with experience from VLN since 2012.
The Carpe Diem Racing Car 2014 is a Opel Astra OPC Cup edition.
The car was bought by RPR Racing in February 2014 from another team that had run the car in the 2013 Opel Astra OPC Cup.
The car is ready to race, but will be upgraded to latest 2014 specs and repainted in RPR Racing's Black and Gold colors before the first outing at VLN T&E 21 March.
The Carpe Diem Racing Drivers 2014 are Carsten Ohlinger, Meyrick Cox and Einar Thorsen.
Highly experienced Nordschleife experts, these fast and safe drivers will be a force to reckon with in the 2014 Cup.
Ohlinger is the owner and manager of RPR Racing as well as a passionate race driver.
Cox and Thorsen are enthusiastic amateur racers with a passion for the Nurburgring Nordschleife.
